She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy MacKenzie and Lucy Vivian MacKenzie (Shatraw); her husband Kenneth William Gesner; her son Kenneth Elmore Gesner Jr.; and her brothers, Raymond, Roy and Francis MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her daughter Nancy; her son-in-law Joseph Bellacosa of Ellijay, GA; her granddaughters, Melissa Story and Stephanie Gesner; her great grandchild Grayson Story of Marietta, GA; and her brother Robert MacKenzie of Myrtle Beach, SC..
