He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Vivian Mixon; his stepfather Bart Mixon; his father Eddy Lane Sr.; his stepmother Rosemary Lane; his brother Earl Lane; his stepbrother Jimmy Plunkett; his wife Linda Eason Lane of Ellijay, Georgia; his children, Angel Smith (Eddie) of Augusta, Amanda Cramer (James) of Dawsonville, Danielle Bennett (Brian) of Jesup, Ron Lane of Lavonia and Brian Lane of Ellijay, Georgia; his brothers, Clinton Lane (Jackie) of Fayetteville and Billy Jo Lane (Brenda) of Jesup, Georgia; his half-sisters, Lisa Kicklighter (Clay) of Jesup and Tammy Lane of Myrtle Beach; and his stepbrothers, Gary Plunkett of Leesburg and David Plunkett of Jesup, Georgia.. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins.
