He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Earl and Etna Pauline Holbrooks (Garrett); his wife Deborah Lynn Holbrooks of Ellijay, GA; his daughter Tammy Michelle Bowen of Fairmount, GA; his grandchild Darby Dell Bowen of Fairmount, GA; his brother Rev. Carroll (Karen Holbrooks); and his close friends, Diane Mullinax (late David Mullinax), Susan, James Holloway and E. J. Jackson. He was also cherished by two nieces and two nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to Calvary Way Baptist Church in memory of Earl.
