He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Redmond and Annie Mae Redmond; his brothers, James Luther Redmond and Eugene Martin Redmond; and his granddaughter Kendall Shay Shurling.
He is survived by: his wife Pattye Redmond of Ellabell; his daughters, Kandi Kim Drew (Paul Drew) and Scarlet Angel Shurling (Gary Shurling); his siblings, Elizabeth Morgan of Rincon, Carl of Rincon and Frank Redmond of Rincon; his grandchildren, Garrett (Julie Shurling), Bridget (Patrick White) and Aaron (Jessica Drew); and his great grandchildren, Madelyn Shurling, Rett Shurling, Reid White, Ryder White, Blaze Drew and Anniston Drew. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
