He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Curtis Sikes and Rose Tillman Sikes. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Mathis Sikes; his children, Gina Sikes and John Larry Sikes, Jr.; his grandchildren, Mickey Allen Rhodes, II and Jordan Leo Poole; his great grandchildren, Paisley Rhodes and Ava Rhodes; and his brother James Donald Sikes. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
