He is survived by: his mother Sylvia James; and his siblings, Nanette Nicol, Henrietta Harding, Dorothea James and Harding James. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

He received his Bachelor Degree in Theology from The Sure Foundation Theological Institute of Savannah, GA and a Master Degree in Biblical Studies.
