With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roy Jeptha Kidd of Elberton, Georgia, born in Comer, Georgia, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Alec Kidd and Evie Lena King Kidd; the mother of his children Mary Jeannette Hendrix Kidd; and his sisters, Ina Dorn, Nina Parnell and Sue Brenner.
He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Sue Martin Kidd of Elberton; his children, Bill Kidd of Elberton, Carol Lunceford of Dewy Rose, Joan, David Gunter of Dewy Rose and Allen Kidd of Dewy Rose; his grandchildren, Frankie Kidd, Julie Mosby, Brad Lunceford, Josh Lunceford, Drew Lunceford and Montana Gunter; and his daughters, Vickie Baston, Cindy and Rusty Adams.
