It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kirby Tyler Jr. of Elberton, Georgia, born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on February 14, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirby Tyler, Sr. and Gladys Blakewood Tyler; his son Michael Kirby Tyler; and his daughter-in-law Melissa. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lanier Tyler; his daughter Lynsley; and his caregivers, Jewell Glaze and Rochelle Rucker. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
