He is survived by: his children, Catina, Calvin Sanders of Elberton, Keith, Dianne Hughes of Athens, Connie Hughes of Elberton, Yolanda Hughes of Royston and Tierra Hughes of Royston; his siblings, Phyllis Lewis of Elberton, Donnie, Patricia Hughes of Elberton, Ronnie and Shirley Hughes of Elberton; his siblings-in-law, Adele Hughes of Elberton and Frank Williams of Lavonia; and his aunts, Evelina Alexander of Kansas City, MO and Willera Allen of Elberton. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
