He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlis Monroe Pless and Parie Taylor Pless; and his siblings, Lawrence Pless, Charles Pless, Nancy Blackmon and Bobby Pless.
He is survived by: his sons, John Brian Pless and Michael James Lentime; and his siblings, Fred Pless and Nellie Capall. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
