He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Joyce Johnson Dixon; his parents, John Frank Dixon and Vonnie Ophelia Rice Dixon; and his son John Howard Dixon of Alabaster, Alabama.. He is survived by: his daughter Katherine Dixon Sutton (Jerry K. Sutton) of Marietta; his grandchildren, Brooke Olivia Robinson of Marietta and Steven Howard Robinson of Dahlonega, Georgia.; and his friend Rhonda Hurst. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
