He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Cleveland Higginbotham and Reba Leona Mills Higginbotham; his wife Dianne Bradshaw Higginbotham; his daughter Kayla Marie Higginbotham; and his brothers, William A. "Bill" Higginbotham and Robert C. "Bob" Higginbotham.
He is survived by: his sons, Glenn Higginbotham of Bluefield, WV and Travis Higginbotham of Anderson, SC; his grandsons, Jackson Higginbotham of Anderson, SC and Carter Higginbotham of Anderson, SC; his siblings, Amos Higginbotham of Grande, NC, Joyce Alewine of Greenwood, SC, Martha (William Booth) and Kathy (Reuben Smith); and his sisters-in-law, Janet Higginbotham of Elberton, GA and Reba Higginbotham of Elberton, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
