It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elma Louise Hubbard of Elberton, Georgia, born in Oglethorpe, Georgia, who passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Buddy Strong and Rosella Strong (Fortson); her children, Brenda Strong Dixon and Rev. John Wayne Strong; and also Heaven.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joseph Strong, Chauncey Dixon, Terry Turner (Candace), Venita Strong and Monica Strong; and her siblings, Mildred Echols, Henry Grady Strong (Gwen) and Morris Strong (Janie). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren.
