He was predeceased by: his parents, Haley Pope Butler and Ressie Mae Ayers Butler; and his wife Martha Ann Brady Butler. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Butler (Tamara) of Elberton and Penny Fant (Julian) of Warner Robins; his grandchildren, Haley Norman (Bryson) of Elberton, Alex Fant (Kelsey) of Kathleen, Holly Graham (Casey) of Perry and Luke Butler (Erin) of Elberton; his great grandchildren, Brantley and Levi Graham; and his brother Hugh Butler (Judy) of Dewy Rose.
