It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Dixon Howell of Elberton, Georgia, born in Dewy Rose, Georgia, who passed away on December 18, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Riley Fremon Dixon and Nancy Andrews Dixon; and her husband Ray Howell. She is survived by: her brother Parker Dixon of Refugio, TX; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Keown (Buddy) and Shirley Howell. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
