Benjamin Smith Oglesby Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Benjamin Smith Oglesby of Elberton, Georgia, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 56. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lanier "Boots" Oglesby and Beverly'Carole'Albertson Oglesby. He is survived by: his children, BJ Oglesby (Britney) of Elberton and Peyton Oglesby (Emma) of Comer; his grandchildren, Ason Grimes, Avery Oglesby and Karli Oglesby; his sisters, Paula Armstrong (Kyle) of Elberton and Amanda Casey (Frank) of Macon; and his nieces and nephews, Christa Cobo (Chelsea), Patrick Armstrong, Zachary Armstrong, Lauren Casey and Megan Casey. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
