He was predeceased by: his parents, William Morgan Brantley and Doris Virginia Brantley; his wife Janice Brantley; his brother Vester Jackson; and his nephew David Morgan.
He is survived by: his brother Jack; his sister-in-law Dorenda Brantley of Valdosta; and his nieces, Michelle Clarke of Oliver and Betty Joe Brantley of Pembroke. He is also survived by eight great nephews and one great nieces.
