He was predeceased by: his parents, Odis Coe and Maggie Dixon Williams; his former wife Patsy Smith Williams; his son Robert E. "Robbie" Williams; and his sisters, Brenda Kessler and Helen Hartin.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Smalley Williams; his children, Billy Joe Williams (Joann), Jonathan Smalley (Amy), Racheal Williams Nasworthy and Michael D. Smalley (Shea); his grandchildren, Liza Marie Thomas, Tommy Williams, Craig "Frog" Williams, Danielle Lawson, Cory, Carol, Mykala, Destiny Smalley and Dylan Ham; and his sisters, Alice Grovenstein of Rincon, Shirley Malphus of Rincon and Rhonda Nebb Scott "Sidekick". He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
