With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Watkins of Eatonton, Georgia, born in Stephens, Georgia, who passed away on March 25, 2021 at the age of 103. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee Young and Mattie Capes Young; her former husband Emory Thomas McElhannon; her husband Cecil Watkins; her children, Gladys Noggle, Gwynell Noggle and Richard McElhannon; and her siblings, Lillian McElhannon, Lucille Noggle, Shelby Jean Angles, Billy Young, Robert Young, Herschel Young and Emory Young.
She is survived by: her sons, Nathan "Punkin" McElhannon of Eatonton, GA and Robert Lee "Bo" McElhannon of Eatonton, GA. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; a number of other relatives and friends.
