He was predeceased by: his parents, James Howard Martin and Mary Sue Stewart Martin; and his sister Phyllis Martin. He is survived by: his wife Bobbie Martin of Eatonton, GA; his daughters, Tawanna Rusk (Kevin) of Kennesaw, GA and Keetah Singleton (Lane) of Greensboro, GA; his siblings, Edith Shepherd, Winnie Epps (Tommy), Sarah Kennedy (Donald), Sam Martin (Faye) and Kirt Martin (Laurie); his grandchildren, Logan McKenzie (Matt), Peyton Lewter (Drake), Jacy Singleton and Carter Singleton; and his great grandchildren, Lottie-Grace, Rusk and Mary-Collins. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

The family requests that any memorials be made to the Fisher House Foundation or St. Jude's Hospital.
