In December 1999, he and his wife bought a house on Lake Oconee in Eatonton, GA, and moved in full-time in 2020, later moving to a new house down the street in August 2020. Paul was an avid golfer and an accomplished marathoner and Ironman triathlete, competing in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii numerous times. He typically raced along-side of (or rather, in front of) his twin brother. He was a member of Christ Our King and Savior Catholic Church in Greensboro as well as St Thomas More Catholic Church in Atlanta.
Paul is survived by his wife, Patricia Lynn Linck; his three children: Spencer J. Linck, Andrew J. Linck, and Blair Linck; six siblings: Tom Linck John Linck, Helen Linck, Peter Linck, Jim Linck (his twin), and Tim Linck; his beloved dogs, Jena, Groot and Homer; other relatives and many friends.
