He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Larman and William Bryan Larman Sr.. He is survived by: his son Joe Larman Jr. (Anne); and his granddaughters, Natalie Chapman (Tony), Bridget Borders and Hannah Brantley. He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested that donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association in his memory.
