He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Knowles (Icky) and Ima Ruth Malone Knowles; and his sister Kay Knowles. He is survived by: his wife Janice Holder Knowles; his children, Buster Knowles (Lynn Baswell), Russell Knowles (Dawn) and Beth Reaves (Scott); his grandchildren, Neil Harper, Jordyn Knowles, Jaidyn Knowles, Sarah Reaves and Jeff Reaves; his nephew Zach Wilson (Sherry); and also Jordan Wilson.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to First Baptist Church, Gatewood School, Humane Society, or Animal Shelter.
