He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hardee Sr. and Maggie Abbott; his wife Jerry Sue Hardee; and his son Terry Powell. He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Reynolds of Eatonton and Elaine Swartz of Hazlehurst; and his nieces, Sandra Cervini and Sharon Cummings. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
