It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Earnest Lee Walton of Eatonton, Georgia, who passed away on July 20, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Mary L. Walton; his son Jerry Walton; his grandson Brandon Dontae Farley; and his siblings, Eva Julia McCloud, Sallie Mae Walton, Dorthy V. Hill, Dennie B. Walton, Charlie Walton, Jr., Willie James Walton, Alex M. Walton and Larry E. Walton.
He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Ford; his children, Nina Ford, Earnestine Thompkins (Samuel), Linda Walton, Ruth Farley, Tracy Rozier, Henry Walton (Mary Ann) and Hersey Walton; and his siblings, Marie Griffin, Ralph Walton and Harry Walton (Doris). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews. cousins, and other relatives and friends.
