It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Louise Batson of Eatonton, Georgia, born in Greensboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 27, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hoyt S. Vandiver, Sr. and Mary Lois Bryant Vandiver; and her siblings, Cathrine Melson, Jeannette Veale, Betty Jo Patterson, Hoyt "June" Vandiver, Jr. and William Jarrell "Bodie" Vandiver.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Batson of Eatonton, GA; her son William Vandiver; her siblings, Linda Hutto (Ronnie Daniel), Thomas Vandiver, Sr. (Geraldine), Louie L. Vandiver, Marion Vandiver (Faye), Jerry S. Vandiver (Connie) and Darrell Vandiver (Kay); and her granddaughters, Anna Vandiver and Emily Vandiver. She is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
