He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Nicholson; and his brother Charlie Nicholson. He is survived by: his brothers, Ray and Big Pop; his sons, Steve R. Nicholson (Ramona), Robert Nicholson and Jeff Nicholson (Melanie); his grandchildren, Tiffany Nicholson (Richie Rosendahl), Kristopher Nicholson, Lindsey Fendley (Brandon Fendley) and Jesse Nicholson; his great grandchildren, Richard, Tayden Rosendahl, Madilyn Nicholson, Zachary, Aubrey and Kinsley Fendley; his sisters, Betty Spivey (Jean) and Shirley Grimes (Wilton); and his sister-in-law Melanie Nicholson.
