She was predeceased by: her mother Clara Mae Brown Ryals; and her brother Sambo Yawn. She is survived by: her father Thomas E. Ryals of Eastman; her husband Ricky McKinney of Eastman; her son Brian McKinney of Eastman; and her grandchildren, Nathan McKinney of Eastman, Jada McKinney of Eastman and Carter McKinney of Eastman.
