It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Louise Chaney of East Point, Georgia, who passed away on January 29, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Joe Starr Chaney; and her parents, Thomas Morgan and Ellie Louise Morgan. She is survived by: her children, Vickie Jo Pickens (Dale), Michael Thomas Chaney (Linda), Gwendolyn Starr Arnold, Lester "Peewee" Arnold, Rachel Louise McBurnett (Mike) and Terry Lynne Powner (Terrence); and her grandchildren, Angie Dodson, Jason Pickens, Heather Chapman, Lucas Norwood, Justin Norwood, Billy Joe Norwood, Catrina Sheets, Caspar Lawler, Mikaela Wood, Emmanuel McBurnett, Ethan McBurnett, Mitchell Powner, Garrett Powner and Ellie Powner. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
