He is survived by: his children, Jevonda Knight (JC), Bronice Hunt (Eddie), Veronica Brown (Braxton), Bonita Coleman (William), John Pooler, Jr. (Ethel), Jerry Pooler (Dondra), Verlis Pooler (Gwen), Greg Pooler (Valery), Ted Pooler (Linda) and Eleanor Payne; and his siblings, Geraldine Devose and Hilton Pooler. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
