It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Shell of East Dublin, Georgia, born in Vidalia, Georgia, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Monroe Shell and Tiney Viola Williams; and his daughter Lynda Shell McDowell. He is survived by: his children, John Stephen Shell (Kim) and Selina Sumner (Clyde) of Lenoir, NC; his grandchildren, Brandy Shell, Joseph Crook (April), CJ Sumner, Austin McDowell, Ryan McDowell and Carson McDowell; his great grandchildren, Lexis Crook, Hayley Palmer, Joshua Palmer, Angel Crook and Brooklyn Oxford; and his son-in-law Randy McDowell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
