She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Clifford Smith, Jr. and Vivian Dunstan Smith; her brother Charles Clifford Smith, III; and her parents-in-law, Walter, Evelyn Palmer and Judy Farley Knight.
She is survived by: her husband Cecil Ray Palmer; her daughters, Anne Dunstan Palmer and Lisa Butler Palmer Peeples (Laughlin); and her grandchildren, Rollie Johnson, Matilda Johnson and Dash Thomas.
