He was predeceased by: his wife Bette "BJ" Binkley; his parents, Dudley Binkley and Gladys Binkley (Abernathy); and his brother Dudley Jay Binkley. He is survived by: his sister Nina Peterson; his children, Jeff (Jaymie Binkley), Erin (Lonnie White), Jennifer (Ian Payne) and Melanie (Michael Siragusa); and his grandchildren, Brooke Binkley, Brady Binkley, Sarah Grace White, Lonnie White, Hannah "Libby" White, Liam Payne, Emma Payne, Joshua Schmidt (Bradlee) and Matthew Siragusa.
