He was predeceased by: his daughter Joanie Lynn Bennett; his parents, Frank Bennett and Maudie Bennett; and his sister Carolyn Bennett Cofer. He is survived by: his devoted Carol; his son Stephen Todd Bennett; his brother Jim Bennett (Jennette) of Gillsville; and his brother-in-law Rev. Kenneth Cofer of Norcross. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
