He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Willis and Irene Rowe Willis; and his siblings, Burke Willis, Ovilla Willis, Owen Willis, Eunice Willis Purvis, Myrtle Willis Amerson, Hulan Hansford Willis, Doyle Willis, Edgar Wade Willis, George Willis and Mildred Willis Bracewell.
He is survived by: his close friend Sandra Odom. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
