She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Waller and Alma Garrett Waller; her former husband Milton R. Tanner; her son Mack Tanner; her husband James David Carey; and her brothers, Russell Waller, Johnny Waller and C. L. Waller.
She is survived by: her son Russ Tanner (Susan) of Tennille; her siblings, Phillip Waller (Betty Jane) of Wrightsville and Maxine Waller Garrett (Charles) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Taylor Tanner and Cassidy Tanner; and her great grandchildren, Riley Rivers and Ember Skillman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
