With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Selena Mitchell Aniekwu of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 12, 2024 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her brother Kevin Jordan. She is survived by: her parents, William Mitchell and Mary Louise Mitchell (Rouse); her daughters, Isis Regina Byrd (Alexander) and Chinelo Aniekwu; her siblings, Reverend Cedric Mitchell, Phillip Mitchell Jhordann, William Mitchell, Jr., Minister Carla Saulsberry and Sylvia Hardeman (Matt); and her grandchildren, Javon Byrd and Lexi Byrd. She is also survived by numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
