He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harold Dinning Sr. and Dorthy Ethridge Dinning; and his wife Frankie Yancey Dinning. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Ross, Joshua Dinning and James Dinning Jr.; and his sister Linda Taylor. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
