He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman B. Shari and Velma Bertrand Shari; his daughter Jessica Lynn Rose Shari; and his brother Sherman Shari. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Joyce Shari; his children, Marlena Ward (Joel) of Winston, Jeremiah Shari (Meridith) of Snellville, Jonathan Shari (Amiee) of Decatur and Daniel Shari of Smyrna; his stepsister Suzanne Werkema of Michigan; and his brother Gary Shari (Sue) of Newport Richy. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive; several nieces and nephews.
