With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha Dryden Sims of Douglas, Georgia, born in Ashburn, Georgia, who passed away on September 10, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son John Preston Dryden (Thelma Elnora Britt); her husband Hughes Melton Sims; her sons, Mel Sims and Greg Sims; her siblings, Johnny Dryden and Elena Springer; and her parents, John Preston Dryden and Thelma Elnora Britt Dryden.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Paulk (Doyle) of Ambrose, GA and Brent Sims of Hazlehurst, GA; her grandchildren, Marsha Paulk Willcox of Ambrose, GA, Becky Paulk Tate (Jamie) of Denton, GA, Brandon Sims (Taylor) of Nicholls, GA and Brittani Kirkland (Freeman) of Ambrose, GA; and her niece Marilyn Eld of Ashburn, GA. She is also survived by Ten Grandchildren, and Two Great-Grandchildren.
