We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2023, at the age of 96, Ellen S. Owens of Douglas, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Smith and Frances Long Smith; and her husband Verica "Bob" Owens. She is survived by: her children, Vivien Parker (Randall) of Douglas, GA and Robert Owens (Anna) of New York, Five; and her grandchildren, Christian Martin (Donna) of Douglas, GA, Cory Parker of Douglas, GA, Jennifer McCoy (Eric) of Charleston, Robert Owens Jr. of New York and Joshua Owens of New York, Several. She is also survived by Several Great Grandchildren, Nieces, and Nephews.
The family requests that all donations be made to Bethany Hospice of Douglas, GA.
