He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur James Murkerson and Alma Neal Faircloth Murkerson; and his siblings, A. J. Murkerson and Joanne Earnest. He is survived by: his wife Pam Murkerson of Donalsonville, GA; his sons, Ted Murkerson of Brandon, MS and Todd Murkerson of Donalsonville, GA; his grandchildren, Chastity Toliver, Haley Murkerson and Brittany Lackey; and his great grandchildren, Madison Whitley, McKenna Whitley, David Toliver and Hannah Lackey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
