She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Thursby and Ona Johnson Thursby; her daughter Deborah Perkins (Everett) of Bainbridge, GA; her stepson Genaro Rangel, Jr. (Judy) of Klondike, TX; her grandchildren, Tina Barber, Cheryl Harrell, Starla Perkins, Jeff Tharp, Stephanie Chapman, Aaron Rangel, Kerri Rangel and Ashley Rangel; her husband Gene Rangel; her daughters, Laura Leona Barber and Pat Tharp; and her siblings, Jesse Thursby, Horace Thursby, Clint Thursby, Frank Thursby, Edna Tabb, Margie Peters and Alice Tharp. She was also cherished by numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Creek Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
