He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Harrell and Thelma Efurd Harrell; and his sister Patsy Rosato. He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Margo" B. Harrell; his children, Brian Harrell, Rhonda, Brandan Harrell and Cara; his stepchildren, Jennifer Suydan, Craig, Susanne Clearman, Todd, Mimi Burchfield, Kevin, Luke Spooner and Whitney; his grandchildren, Grant, Lacey Harrell, Jacob, Megan, Andrew, Tyler Harrell, Emilee Nunnery, Colton, Logan Clearman, Lizzy Woodruff, Jenni Woodruff Dortch and John Harvard; and his sister Gayle Mann (Kevin). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren.
