He was predeceased by: his parents, John Land Weaver and Mary Sue Moore Weaver; his former wife Linda Dianne Reeves Weaver; and his brother Larry Weaver. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Weaver of Donalsonville; his children, Margaret O'Berry (Riley) of Valdosta, Maggie Bloodworth (Donald) of Hawkinsville, James Weaver (Susan) of Nashville and Chris Roush (Karesa) of Nashville, TN; his siblings, Rosemary Ortiz (Jim) of Stuart, FL and William Weaver (Polly) of Murphy, NC; his grandchildren, Victoria Corbin (Michael), Shaw Vickers, Sage O'Berry, Shelby Vickers, Erik Roush, Daniel Bloodworth, Nichole Souza and Justin Tallman; and his great grandchild Weston Souza. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Georgia Diabetes Research Foundation.
