It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herman Levi Carter Jr. of Donalsonville, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman L. and Willie Maude Carter, Sr.; and his brother Louie Burkes. He is survived by: his brothers, Delmar and Donald Burkes; his significant other Linda S. Carter; his children, Mike Carter, April Cantrell (John) and Lori Belle Isle (Chris); his grandchildren, Garrett Carter (Page), Shelby Bacon (David), Caroline Bowman (Nic), Josh Belle Isle, Brandon Mullikin, Matthew Mullikin, Marley Kennedy (Chris) and Seth Cantrell; and his great grandchildren, Brandon Mullikin, Aden Mullikin and Lydia Bowman.
Due to ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to wear protective masks and social distance in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
