Chris Brookins Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 25, 2022, Chris Brookins of Donalsonville, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Brookins and Niza Brookins; his sisters, Amelia Whittaker and Helen Dick (Wanda Brookins); and his grandson Philip Tapley Earhart.
He is survived by: his brother Herman L. Brookins Jr. (Vivien Brookins); his children, Christopher "Dean" Brookins, Tracy Cay Brookins and Julie Michelle Brookins; his stepdaughters, Suzanne Hammitt, Leigh Stanford and Sabrina Dutch; and his grandchildren, Rhea, Chaylen and Cullen Brookins. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
The family asks any donations made in Chris' name go towards a local animal shelter.
