With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alberta Ladigo Penney (Donalsonville, Georgia), who passed away on May 27, 2019 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Ladigo and Lillian Sherwin Ladigo; her husband Caleb Cole Penney; her children, Sherwin Penney and James Robert Penney II; her siblings, Bert Ladigo, Elsie Dawson and Gertrude Ladigo; and her grandchildren, Brittany Corey, Cassandra Corey, Alvin Krack III and Ashley Nicole Krack.
She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Penney (Sandy) of Wylie, TX and Jacquelin Gay of Jakin, GA; her grandchildren, Holley Penney, Teresa Corey, Tamara Williams and Pamela Mattingly; and her great grandchildren, Huey Hunter, Chadwick Corey, Cameron Corey, Bradley Scott Corey, Christopher Williams, Amber Williams, Michael Wood and Lauren Wood.
