He was predeceased by: his parents, Doc Thomas and Julie Edwards Thomas; the mother of his children Ruth Williams Thomas; his sons, Mitchell Thomas, Wayne Thomas and Timothy Thomas; and his wife Eva Mae Williams Thomas.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Marsh of Clarkesville and Michael; his daughter-in-law Jean Thomas of Toccoa; his sister Dorothy Hughes of Blairsville; and his close friend Tony Souther. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, one great-greatgrandchild.
