It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Singleton of Dawsonville, Georgia, born in Lumpkin, Georgia, who passed away on January 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Thurmond and Leila Thurmond; her husband Billie Singleton; her sons, Scott Singleton and John Singleton; and her siblings, Buster Thurmond, Marie Crane, Alene Slaton and Lucille Lowman. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
